Stained Concrete

Let’s face it: concrete is very useful to our towns, cities and infrastructure. It has a long history of providing compact support for buildings, cars and all manner of other appliances and structures. The only problem is… it’s a bit dull. By dull we mean it lacks colour and style. Therefore, since the 1970’s it has become less and less popular for homeowners and developers alike. Luckily, at Montgomery Concrete Staining Pro, we have the necessary tools and expertise to provide the answer.

Most people have concrete somewhere in their home or yard. It’s been a staple part of building for such a long time that it is an unavoidable part of lots of construction. Especially in the Montgomery area, we have had many clients who realised that they can do something about this hard material and they have picked up the phone without hesitation. But this process, once people find out about it, actually has unique benefits. Unlike solid coating materials like paint or colouring formulas, concrete staining tends to produce a great effect. That is because it enriches the concrete surface with deep and sometimes translucent hues. People are amazed when they see the results.

At Montgomery Concrete Staining Pro, we’ve known about this process for ages and we’ve been using it to great effect! Whether you are a new customer, a previous client with an ongoing concern or you just want to know more about the process, please don’t hesitate to get in touch now for a free quote or some advice. All of our contact details can be found right here on this website. Alternatively, read on to find out more about our special process. We promise that after doing this you will be excited to know how it can enhance your home or project space!

The Process

The first thing we will do after you tell us about a project is to come and inspect it. That way we can assess exactly what types of work are suitable and advise you on the costs. Then, once we have agreed a plan with you, we will set to work cleaning the concrete surface thoroughly. This ensures that you have a smooth and decontaminated surface to work with. Then, we will secure the area (to avoid spillage) and apply the concrete stain. Any colour or pattern you want is achievable! This will be applied via a pump sprayer and left to dry out.

Once we have finished the desired coating, we will then clean and neutralize the stain. The purpose of this leg of the journey is to provide a proper clean up so you can get on with your life (neutralization not always required)! Lastly, we like to add a protective coat just to make sure that the floor is secure. It is normally a sealer but which one we use is dependant on what kind of staining process took place and whether the surface is outside against nature’s elements or inside and safe from the wind and the rain.
